Sudoku Cubes
You've solved a thousand sudokus.
Never one like this.
Once you know the tricks, flat sudoku runs on autopilot. Sudoku Cubes wraps six puzzles around one cube and links them at the edges, so every face you crack hands you clues for the next. Turn the cube, follow the chain, and feel that first-time aha again. Calm, hand-drawn and never interrupted by an ad.
The answer's around the corner
You already know the rules. Each of the cube's six faces is a classic 9×9 sudoku: every row, column and 3×3 box holds the digits 1 to 9 exactly once.
The new part is where the faces meet. They're stitched together, and the seams add two simple rules:
- Two cells that touch across a cube edge must hold different digits.
- The three cells that meet at a corner of the cube must all be different.
That's all, and it changes how you see a puzzle. A face that looks stuck often isn't: the clue it needs is waiting on the face next door. Turn the cube, find it, and one breakthrough sets off the next until all six faces fall into place.
A level for every mood
Easy
A cup-of-tea solve. Plenty of clues, so you can unwind while you learn how the edges work.
Medium
A satisfying daily workout. Fewer clues, and pairs and pointing start to pay off.
Hard
For when regular sudoku stopped being hard. Sparse faces that only crack open through their seams.
Ultra Hard
The one you'll brag about. Long chains of logic that run around the whole cube.
Every puzzle is fair: one solution, and you can always reason your way to it. You'll never have to guess.
Little things that make it lovely
Fun to fidget with
Roll the cube with a fingertip to peek around a corner; let go and it settles neatly onto the nearest face.
Like pencil on paper
Write with Apple Pencil just like in a puzzle book. Hover to preview a cell and its neighbour across the edge; double-tap or squeeze to jot notes.
Hints that teach
Stuck? A hint walks you through the next logical step, seams included, so you get unstuck and get better. The digit stays hidden unless you ask.
Try anything
Pencil in candidates, let notes tidy themselves, and undo as far back as you like. Mistake checking is there when you want it.
Quietly satisfying
Soft pencil ticks and kalimba chimes as you go, and a little fanfare when the whole cube comes together.
Play it your way
Prefer a classic grid? Solve one face at a time in 2D and hop across edges when you need to. Built to work with VoiceOver, too.
